Experience one of the earliest ways of printing an image! Using materials available in the Cyanotype Printing kit, create your very own cyanotype fabric napkin with flowers selected by Mary Monterio in collaboration with Singaporean photographer and artist, Samantha Tio (Mintio).
Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic printing process that produces a beautiful cyan-blue print when exposed to sunlight, hence it is also fondly known as “sun printing”.
In this workshop, facilitators will share the origins of Cyanotype printing, and ways to express ideas through this technique to make beautiful imprints under the sun. Learn how to compose film negatives, expose, and develop your own images.
