30 Sep - Hush for Peace with Hush TeaBar
Come join us for a special private HUSH@Community session this September to raise awareness for the Deaf community in Ukraine amidst the ongoing conflict as we celebrate the International Day of the Deaf. We are delighted that Her Excellency Ms Kateryna Zelenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Singapore will join us at the end of the Hush Experience to announce the funds raised by Singapore Red Cross in 2022 to support the Ukrainian Society for the Deaf (UTOG).
The highly-acclaimed 4-zone Hush Experience is a powerful and transformative journey where participants are led by our Deaf facilitators into a state of quietude and introspection. In silence we remember who we are, and who we are to each other. How can we bring the worlds of Hearing and Deaf together? How are we in Singapore connected with those who are suffering in Ukraine with the devastating effects of the war? How would the Deaf hear the warning siren? How could the Deaf be reached for rescue when they are under fallen rubble?

Your participation will contribute fully towards the efforts by UTOG to support the Deaf community in Ukraine. Our partner and fellow social enterprise, The Social Space, is also kindly opening their cafe space for this special private event for the HUSH community.
We invite you to comeĀ #HushforPeaceĀ so we together, in silence, develop a deeper understanding of the challenges and experiences of Deaf persons, especially for the Deaf people in Ukraine and other conflict areas.
Important: Please note that we can only accommodate a maximum of 25 participants due to space constraints, so please sign up soon!

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The event has a maximum pax of 25 individuals, once the event has reached maximum capacity, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list.
- Please note that the event is only opened to individuals 15 and above!Ā Ā
- You will be contacted by our facilitator prior to joining the event to provide event detailsĀ
- Your information here is strictly kept confidential and only for the purposes of providing administrative instruction on the event, and to notify you for future events, should you indicate your interest.
- Please notify your facilitator if you are unable to partake in the event, so that we would be able to give your spot to another interested party
- No outside food and drinks allowed in the cafe
By purchasing a ticket for any of our events or workshops, you are agreeing to the terms & conditions as set out by the vendor as well as the following generic terms & conditions:
- In the event of low attendance, The Social Space reserve all rights to cancel/reschedule the event/workshop. You will receive an email notice at least 48-hours prior and be given the choice to attend the next event/workshop or get a full refund.
- Photographs and videos will be taken during event/workshop and may be used for our training and marketing purposes. Participants with any concern should inform The Social Space prior to the event/workshop.
- Participant agrees to indemnify The Social Space and our event/workshop partners against any damages or injuries that may be sustained to themselves, or their belongings, during the event/workshop.
- The Social Space reserves all rights to seek compensation for any damage to our space or furniture, or injury to the instructor.
- The Social Space reserves all rights to make changes or update these terms and conditions whenever necessary. In case of any dispute, we reserve all rights to make the final decision.
