Welcome to The Good Weekend!

This National Day, celebrate Singapore in a way that truly matters — by supporting the people, stories, and small businesses that make our community stronger. Happening on 9 & 10 August at The Foundry, a social impact space in the historic former Elections Department building, this marketplace is more than just an event. It’s a gathering of purpose-driven brands, changemakers, and conscious consumers who believe in doing good while having a good time.

Expect a curated lineup of homegrown vendors offering sustainable products, handmade crafts, heritage treats, and unique finds — all created with heart and a mission to give back. Enjoy interactive booths, community activities, and delicious food and drinks, all set in a space that celebrates inclusivity, culture, and impact. Come soak in the spirit of Singapore — where tradition meets innovation, and every small purchase or conversation helps build a more caring, connected future. ❤️

A Heritage Landmark Reimagined for National Day 🇸🇬

This year’s event takes place at the former Elections Department at 11 Prinsep Link - a site that once shaped Singapore’s future through decades of election results.

Now reimagined as The Foundry, a hub for social impact organisations, it continues to be a space for collective change. This National Day, it’s the perfect place to honour our past, celebrate the present, and come together to build a better tomorrow.

Need to Know: FAQs

While Bettr Barista Café accepts credit cards, most of our market vendors will only take cash or PayNow. We recommend bringing a mix of cash and having your PayNow ready for a smooth experience.

Pets are welcome at Bettr Café's outdoor (but sheltered) seating area, but unfortunately not inside The Foundry building itself. We’re also expecting a big crowd, so please only bring your furry friends if they’re comfortable in busy environments.

Definitely. We encourage BYO bags and cups, many vendors use compostable packaging, and we have recycling points on-site. Supporting local social enterprises also means you’re helping reduce carbon footprints.

Yes, you can! Bettr Café will still be taking reservations on event days, but do note there’s a 1.5-hour seating limit so more guests can enjoy a spot. You can book your table here.

There’s no ATM inside the venue, but several are a short walk away. We’ll include a map in your confirmation email with nearby facilities.

Absolutely! We’d love for you to capture and share your favourite moments. Tag us (@thesocialspace.sg and @foundrysg) and the small vendors you support - it means the world to them and helps spread the word. We’d love to see all the wonderful finds through your eyes.

Yes! Bettr Coffee Café offers vegetarian, vegan, and some gluten-free options. Just look out for the signs or feel free to ask the friendly vendors - they’ll be happy to help.

It’s super accessible by both bus and MRT.

  • 106, 131, 166, 175, 502, 857. Nearest stops: Middle Rd - Sunshine Plaza (07571) and Bencoolen St - Bef Bencoolen Stn Exit A (04029).
  • Bencoolen MRT (DT12) is just 2 mins away, Bras Basah MRT (CC2) is 6 mins, Rochor MRT (DT13) is 8 mins, and Dhoby Ghaut MRT (NS24|NE6|CC1) is an 11 min walk.

Yes! Outdoor parking is available along Prinsep Street, just a minute’s walk from the venue. You can also park at Sunshine Plaza (91 Bencoolen Street, Singapore 189652), which is also about a minute away.

Great question! Many of the social enterprises will have info on how you can volunteer, donate, or support them long-term. Stop by their booths to learn more.

Yes, walk-ins are very welcome! But as it’s an old heritage building, there’s a maximum capacity, so we’ll have to limit entry once it’s full. To skip the line and secure your spot, we recommend getting The Good Pass at $6, which includes a free drink, a Bettr Tumblr (worth $28.90 ), plus exclusive promos and giveaways with our neighbours in the ‘hood.

Do note that entrance will be prioritised for pass holders.

No worries - the event is fully indoors, so it’ll go on rain or shine. Just come by and stay cozy while you explore, shop, and enjoy the day!

We’d love that! Drop us a message beforehand so we can share press kits, highlight stories, or even arrange a special peek behind the scenes.

Feel free to reach out to us at hello@thesocialspace.co. anytime. We’re happy to help and would love to hear from you!
