Slow down, get creative, and transform simple materials into a one-of-a-kind coaster.
In this hands-on workshop by Craftworthy, participants will create their very own National Day-themed coaster using sustainable craft plaster and water-based colour pigments. Inspired by the red, white, and celebratory spirit of Singapore's 61st birthday, you'll experiment with colour mixing and pouring techniques to create beautiful marbled patterns. No two pours are the same - making every coaster one of a kind and uniquely yours.
Designed to be beginner-friendly, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to slow down, get creative, and experience the satisfaction of making something with their own hands. No artistic experience is required, just bring your curiosity and enjoy the process of creating a functional keepsake!
All materials are provided.

This workshop is part of The Good Weekend 2026 - a National Day weekend market created to celebrate the people, ideas, and small businesses shaping a more thoughtful Singapore.
Beyond the workshops, the weekend brings together local makers, social enterprises, independent brands, food vendors, and community groups who are using what they do to create impact in different ways - from supporting vulnerable communities to championing sustainability, local craft, and more conscious choices.
We hope you will take some time to explore the rest of the event, meet the people behind the booths, and discover how even the smallest choices can support something meaningful.
