ABOUT REHYPHEN®:

Rehyphen is a Singapore-based upcycling social enterprise founded by Jessica "J.J." Chuan in 2016. Best known for its innovative material, MusicCloth®, made from woven cassette tapes, the brand transforms electronic waste into sustainable fashion and lifestyle products. Through its work, Rehyphen seeks to reduce waste while preserving musical history in meaningful and contemporary ways.

Driven by a belief that discarded materials still hold value and stories worth preserving, Rehyphen combines sustainability, design, and social impact to inspire new ways of thinking about consumption and waste. Through educational programmes, workshops, and innovative products, the brand empowers individuals to see waste not as an endpoint, but as the beginning of new possibilities.

This workshop is part of The Good Weekend 2026 - a National Day weekend market created to celebrate the people, ideas, and small businesses shaping a more thoughtful Singapore.

Beyond the workshops, the weekend brings together local makers, social enterprises, independent brands, food vendors, and community groups who are using what they do to create impact in different ways - from supporting vulnerable communities to championing sustainability, local craft, and more conscious choices.

We hope you will take some time to explore the rest of the event, meet the people behind the booths, and discover how even the smallest choices can support something meaningful.
