18th Mar - Bloom: Beginner's Floral Embroidery Workshop
Join us for a fun and creative session of line and floral embroidery over a cup of coffee or tea. Dive into the art of embroidery with a few essential stitches, unlocking the power to craft a bouquet or letter of vibrant flowers. Perfect for beginners, this hands-on session lets you channel your creativity into a unique one of a kind piece.
No prior experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm and Sew On and Sow Forth will provide all the materials and guidance every step of the way.
What you will learn
The session will focus on 3 to 4 fundamental stitches, showcasing their versatility in creating beautiful flower designs. Participants will have the creative freedom to sketch a design (or use a template), whether it's a letter or a bouquet, and bring it to life with a charming embroidered blooms.
In addition to perfecting the stitches, participants will learn essential techniques to elevate their embroidery pieces. This includes preparing the fabric and hoop, mastering the art of starting and ending a thread, and finishing the hoop upon completion, rendering it ready for display.
What you will take home
You will take home your beautiful creation in a hoop, where it can blossom into a stunning wall decor or a heartfelt gift.
About the Instructor
Arzelle, an accomplished fashion designer and educator with over 16 years of global teaching experience, now channels her expertise into mindful stitching and crafting as a form of self-care. From bespoke bridal studio work to international fashion classrooms, Arzelle's passion for creativity and meticulous craftsmanship shines through in her immersive workshops. Join her to explore the soothing world of embroidery, fostering connection, mindfulness, and creative expression, backed by her extensive knowledge and expertise.

Kindly take note that workshop slots may be cancelled (you will be refunded) or postponed if enrollment does not reach the minimum number of four (4) participants by three (3) days before the scheduled workshop. Additionally, please be mindful that this workshop is tailored for adults, as it involves the use of sharp tools and is not suitable for children under 12 years old.

By purchasing a ticket for any of our events or workshops, you are agreeing to the terms & conditions as set out by the vendor as well as the following generic terms & conditions:
- In the event of low attendance, The Social Space reserve all rights to cancel/reschedule the event/workshop. You will receive an email notice at least 48-hours prior and be given the choice to attend the next event/workshop or get a full refund.
- If you are not able to make it for the event/workshop, please let us know as least 7-days in advance. We will refund the amount paid, minus a 15% handling and credit card processing fee.
- Photographs and videos will be taken during event/workshop and may be used for our training and marketing purposes. Participants with any concern should inform The Social Space prior to the event/workshop.
- Participant agrees to indemnify The Social Space and our event/workshop partners against any damages or injuries that may be sustained to themselves, or their belongings, during the event/workshop.
- The Social Space reserves all rights to seek compensation for any damage to our space or furniture, or injury to the instructor.
- The Social Space reserves all rights to make changes or update these terms and conditions whenever necessary. In case of any dispute, we reserve all rights to make the final decision.
