Kueh Play Workshop for Kids
Sensory Play with a Taste of Tradition!
Heritage Food meets Sensory Play in this experience, as kids (and their grown-ups!) explore the textures, sounds, and stories of Singapore’s food past — through kueh moulds, noodle presses, and old-school kitchen tools. Using safe, food-grade homemade playdough, participants will stamp, press, and shape their own colourful mini masterpieces, while learning how these tools once brought traditional snacks to life.
Participants will:
- Get hands-on with traditional kitchen tools like kueh moulds and noodle presses
- Use homemade, food-grade playdough to stamp, press, and shape fun creations
- Learn how these tools were used to make local snacks in the past
- Discover fun facts about Singapore’s food heritage
- Enjoy a fun and creative bonding activity for kids and their grown-ups
