Jimmy lost his hearing as a toddler due to high fever but discovered a passion for drawing through self-learning. He is a strong advocate for the inclusion of persons with disabilities (PwDs) and actively supports the PwD dragon boat team, reflecting his commitment to empowering others through art and community.

ABOUT THE BRAND

The SPD Artisan Collaboration is an initiative under the SPD Sheltered Workshop providing employment and training opportunities for persons with disabilities since 1964. For over a decade, our team of craftspeople bring their unique skills in creating artisanal journals and restoring old books to give them a new lease of life. In addition to the book bindery, we have a succession of younger persons with disabilities being trained in leather-crafting, stitching together lifestyle products perfect as gifts for friends, loved ones, and corporate partners.
