ABOUT THE ARTIST
Jimmy Chan is a self-taught artist who lost his hearing as a toddler due to a high fever. His passion for drawing became a way to express himself and connect with others. Today, Jimmy actively champions inclusion for persons with disabilities (PwDs), including supporting the PwD dragon boat team as an avid paddler and advocate.

ABOUT THE BRAND
The SPD Artisan Collaboration is an initiative under the SPD Sheltered Workshop that has provided employment and training opportunities for persons with disabilities since 1964. For over a decade, their team of craftspeople has brought their unique skills to creating artisanal journals and restoring old books, giving them a new lease of life. In addition to the book bindery, they have a succession of younger persons with disabilities being trained in leather-crafting, stitching together lifestyle products perfect as gifts for friends, loved ones, and corporate partners.
