THE GOOD WEEKEND 🇸🇬
It’s been a month since we teamed up with The Majurity Trust to bring The Good Weekend to life, and honestly, we’re still riding the high. 🌟 Over two days, more than 30 brands came together with 1,200+ socially curious folks at The Foundry. The result? A space buzzing with energy, creativity, and so much heart. 💛

Our journey with The Majurity Trust started back when their office was near our Duo outlet, and their team became regular customers. What they do is powerful: shining a light on social needs that often fly under the radar, backing it up with research and numbers so funders and organizations know where they can make the biggest difference. 📊
The Foundry, a social impact hub set up by The Majurity Trust, couldn’t have been a more fitting home for our first conscious market. Formerly the Elections Department, it’s now a place where social impact groups dream, build, and collaborate. 🤝 As the team behind it says, “The Foundry provides that home where social impact organizations can amplify their work through connection and shared resources.” With SG60 in the air, it felt right to celebrate in a space rooted in history and purpose.
The Good Weekend was never just a market - it was a gathering point for people who care. Visitors explored rows of local vendors, each using their craft to spark change: from handmade ceramics and paintings to books, plants, and lifestyle products. 🎨🌱
Creativity and heritage found bold expression through art and storytelling. 🎨 Ambi Arts, Artably, and Anomaly Market celebrated culture and resilience with hand-painted works and jewellery. At the same time, Faction Press and New Life Stories gave voice to stories of trauma, healing, and family through their books. Letters of Praise, Momshoo and Toko Yoelia added warmth with hand-illustrated gifts and stitched charms, and Macramenian x Hoopla wove tales through knots and loops with their crafts.
Clay took on new life with Ocio Ceramics’ whimsical creations and SNAIL Handmade Ceramics’ calming, handbuilt pieces, while Ida Goh captured live portraits that held soul and memory. 🖌️ Sustainability shone through Cap Minyak’s upcycled side tables, Refind’s glassware reborn from waste bottles and glass, and Nyana Nyana Eco’s batik brought apparel from deadstock fabrics.
Goodness Gracious encouraged eco-friendly homes with beeswax wraps 🐝, and Patrichory blended aromatherapy into plant-based care. Little Botany brought greenery into everyday spaces, while Hodo Kits offered thoughtful, vegan travel essentials.
Empowerment and inclusion were at the heart of Doodle Dat, Hatch and Kita, and FINN, supporting youth, livelihoods, and mental health. 💚 Happiness Initiative inspired joy through research-backed games, Co:Creation invited playful marbling art onto coasters, and Ray of Hope uplifted overlooked communities through crowdfunding.
Everyday essentials carried a purpose too. Talking Toes made each step a reminder to give back with their socks 👣, while Will & Well re-imagined fashion for dignity and inclusion. Together, these 26 brands showed that creativity, care, and community can transform the ordinary into lasting impact.
Of course, good vibes need good food, and our food vendors delivered.🍴Empowered Families Initiative, Hawker Boys, Kueh Ho Jiak, Popsicle Story, and Ye Olde Cow’s Food Truck kept everyone fuelled and happy.
Our friends at Bettr Coffee ☕ joined the fun too. They quickly became a natural gathering point for anyone needing a break, and their SG60-exclusive drinks gave visitors something new (and delicious) to try.🥤(Bettr coffee BNB)
Adding to the magic was DJ Clarabelle 🎶, whose playlist carried the joy of SG60 in every beat. She spun tracks in multiple languages, bringing people together through music - and even took the time to give a curious young visitor a “How to DJ (10-minute version)”. 🎧 That moment alone captured the spirit of the weekend: connection, curiosity, and joy.
And of course, we can’t forget the workshops. From paper pulp painting and kueh play to matcha bowl painting, storytelling, and even a neighbourhood heritage trail - there was something for everyone. ✨ The sessions sparked so much joy across all ages, and one participant even loved it so much that they signed up for more afterwards! It was a win-win: workshop hosts found new audiences, and participants walked away inspired (and sometimes with a handmade keepsake in hand 🖌️).
None of this would have been possible without the people behind the scenes, and we couldn't have done it without the talented folks from The Majurity Trust. Our small but mighty team came together as one with their team, and worked tirelessly to manage every aspect of the event. 🛠️ The dedication of everyone involved made sure the weekend flowed seamlessly and that vendors felt supported from start to finish.
What made The Good Weekend truly special was that it worked both ways: vendors got to meet new audiences and share their craft, while visitors found ways to support causes that matter. 💬💡 Every purchase, conversation, and connection added up to something bigger - a community that wants to do good together.
The Good Weekend reminded us that a market can be so much more. It can be a meeting point for art, culture, and purpose. It can be a space where strangers leave as friends, where people walk away a little more inspired and ready to make a difference. 🌍
To everyone who joined us - vendors, visitors, partners, and friends - thank you for making the very first The Good Weekend such a joy. 💐
And maybe see you next year…? 😉
