In the fast-paced and high-pressure world of office environments, many of us often overlook the importance of taking a meaningful break. With long hours and constant demands, it's no surprise that stress and burnout have become common challenges in today's workplace. This is where 'Vibe Check', a new mental health series by The Social Space in collaboration with Montfort Care, steps in to make a difference. 

Montfort Care, founded in 1998, is dedicated to supporting mental health and well-being for individuals facing life’s challenges. Through a variety of programs and services, they provide the care and resources needed to help people navigate tough times and break free from the stigma around mental health. With a focus on empowerment, Montfort Care helps individuals move from simply surviving to truly thriving.

As we step into 2025, The Social Space and Montfort Care are launching a mental health campaign series from Wednesday, 5th February, to Saturday, 1st March 2025 to encourage everyone to find balance in the busyness through a variety of thoughtfully designed wellness sessions. Whether it's taking a pause during your lunch break or delving deeper into mindfulness over the weekends, we invite you to embark on a journey of self-care to recharge 🤍

For three weeks, enjoy a refreshing midweek escape with our lunchtime sessions held every Wednesday at our Duo Galleria Outlet. Each 45-60 minute session is crafted to help you unwind, reflect, and recharge for the rest of the work day.

Objective: Encourage reflection and self-expression in just a few minutes to help process emotions and increase mental clarity

In just a few minutes a day, journaling can become your go-to tool for reflection, self-expression, and achieving a calmer, more focused mind. Workshop 1: Therapeutic Card Making 💌

Therapeutic Card Making for Self-Discovery invites participants to explore their inner world through the creation of unique metaphoric cards. Using poker cards and collage techniques, individuals will be guided to express their emotions and build meaningful connections with others within a brave and safe space fostered by the art-making process.

Hear Buds is a FREE one-to-one real time 40 minutes chat session, through video, call or text with a trained peer volunteer, where you can talk about your struggles or any specific problem in your life. No judgement, no advice, no over-talking - just real heart-to-heart listening. Sometimes, all we really want is someone to talk to and to lend a listening ear. 

 2. Affordable Therapy by iASH

Are you a youth looking to speak to a professional? iASH counsellors and therapists are experienced private practitioners who offer subsidised therapy services, either in-person or over zoom. They also provide further subsidies such as the Special Subsidy fund for youths in special circumstances.

3. Couples Counselling by Us Therapy

Going through struggles in your relationships? Reach out to the team of highly skilled and qualified psychologists at Us Therapy who offer individual and couples therapy and counseling to help resolve issues and conflicts, and enhance communication within your relationships.
